Billy Greineisen, Ph.D.

Principal

William (Billy) Greineisen is responsible for leading market development activities and maximizing the value the Ventures team brings to CVS Health® through our investment strategy. With his diverse background in the health care space, he helps drive financial, strategic and insight returns for the enterprise.

Billy is a Wharton alumnus with experience as an award-winning entrepreneur, scientist and Fortune 50 corporate strategist. He has a unique combination of expertise in strategy, operations and business development, as well as a proven track record in his ability to adapt and excel in vastly different professional settings and roles. Before joining the CVS Health Ventures team, Billy served as the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Cox Enterprises where he developed and led the company’s health care strategy.

Fun fact

Billy serves his community as a volunteer firefighter and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) in the Philadelphia area.
